There are many great fly fishing guides in Alberta; most of them though, fish primarily the Bow River near Calgary or Elk River in British Columbia. We specialize in guiding the rivers right in our backyard.

We grew up in Cowley, a peaceful village that lives where the foothills of the Rockies meet the prairies in Southwestern Alberta. Cowley is also within minutes of three of the best trout fishing rivers in Alberta. The Crowsnest and Castle rivers are 5 minutes away; the Oldman River is 10 minutes. These are our home waters and we have lived our years learning these rivers' secrets and enjoying them as they are revealed.

Adam

Born in Pincher Creek raised in Cowley, Adam now lives in Hillcrest in the Crowsnest Pass to be closer to the Crowsnest River.

His hand first held a fly rod at age 10, a gift from his brother Mark. The first river he fished with it was the Crowsnest and the first fish he caught was on the Crowsnest. Since then Adam has traveled the world pursuing fish with a fly rod.

Living and working as fly fishing/ rafting guide in British Columbia for 3 years, then to New Zealand for 6 months of brown trout fishing and to Belize on the flats. Adam is now 28 and his love of fly fishing is stronger than ever.

Mark

Born in Ontario, but raised an Albertan, Mark lives in Cowley and has spent his years studying the ways of trout and their environment.

Mark has fished for every species of fish that swims in Alberta but doesn't share Adam's wanderlust. The fishing is so good in Alberta that he's never had to travel anywhere else to find great fishing. Try to locate Mark during fishing season and he's likely to be on the Oldman and has become a specialist on that river, rest assured though, Mark feels at home on all the rivers he fishes.

Mark is also a Chef by trade and prepares all the meals we serve on our trips.
